Shinigami Merchant Guild RExEX is a standalone Japanese doujin RPG developed by circle Meimitei that focuses on harem guild management. Rebuilt from the ground up as a complete mechanical overhaul of the developer's previous work, Shinigami Shoukan, the game places players in the role of a male protagonist who leverages financial power to recruit, manage, and empower a diverse group of female adventurers. Players must balance resource management, character progression, and strategic planning to build a thriving guild while preparing to face increasingly formidable foes. Presented in a classic 2D Japanese indie RPG style, the game features anime character illustrations, sprite-based navigation, and menu-driven management systems. A notable technical and gameplay feature of this edition is the addition of a dedicated Extra Stage mode, which introduces endgame content and higher-level challenges beyond the base campaign. As a standalone title, it does not require players to own the original game. Additionally, the developer supports save file migration, allowing players to transfer their save folder directly from the demo version into the full release, retaining their progress along with minor early-game advantages.
